WarningSum:...Winter Storm Warning Remains In Effect Until 6 Am Cst
Wednesday...
Warning Message:A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST
Wednesday.
* Snow will continue through this evening. Snowfall rates
should be highest this morning. The snow should end from west
to east Tuesday night.
* Widespread snowfall amounts of 5 to 9 inches are expected by
Wednesday morning.
* Northwest winds will gust to around 30 mph beginning late this
afternoon and tonight. This will cause significant blowing and
drifting snow...with near blizzard conditions possible in rural
and open areas.
* Roads will remain slick and snow covered. Tonight the significant
blowing and drifting snow will make for very hazardous travel.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet...ice...or strong winds are expected or occurring. This
will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you must
travel...keep an extra flashlight...food...and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.

* Until Saturday morning.
* At 3:30 am Tuesday the stage was 12.3 feet...and falling.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast...remain near 12.3 feet today. Fall below flood stage Saturday
morning.
* Impact...at 12 feet...water affects some Summer cottages along the
river.
